We conduct online Fiqh and ʿAqīdah classes with Ustaz Anwar Hussien every Thursday, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Singapore Time).
At present, the classes are conducted fully online to accommodate a global audience, allowing students from different countries to benefit from the lessons.
The current series focuses on ʿAqīdah, studying the book Sughra al-Ṣughrā by Imam al-Sanusi, which forms part of his foundational ʿAqīdah curriculum.
What will be covered in this series:
Understanding what ʿAqīdah truly is
The difference between ʿAqīdah and ʿIlm al-Kalām
Why ʿIlm al-Kalām exists and when it is used
How Islamic sciences are organised and how each plays a distinct role
Clarifying the differences between:
ʿAqīdah (core beliefs)
ʿIlm al-Kalām (defending belief using proofs)
Fiqh (Islamic rulings and actions)
Taṣawwuf / Tazkiyah (purification of the heart)
This series aims to provide clarity and grounding, especially in times where confusion and misunderstandings about belief are widespread.
